- Apex Microtechnology develops and manufactures precision power analog monolithic, hybrid and open frame components for a wide range of industrial, test and measurement, medical, aerospace and defense applications. These devices are typically used to generate motion control, such as driving piezo electrical devices, and brush and brushless DC motors. Founded in 1980, Apex Microtechnology was acquired in 2007 by Cirrus Logic, a premier supplier of mixed-signal processing components for audio and energy markets. The company is headquartered in Tucson, Ariz., USA.
